Event Photo Gallery

Here are just a few photo galleries of events that West Coast Authentic has attended and conducted auction services. We find that the most rewarding part about our auction business is the amount of money that is donated to charities through our efforts at fundraising events. Each year hundreds of thousands of dollars are donated through auctions conducted by West Coast Authentic.

BCHL ALL STAR GAME IN VERNON:

January 14th, 2009

Coastal beats Interior in Vernon If this year's All-Star Game in Vernon was any indication, the Coastal Conference may be a step ahead of their Interior rivals when the postseason rolls around.

In one of the more lopsided contests in recent memory, the Coast jumped out to a large first period lead and tagged the home squad with a 13-5 loss in front of nearly 1500 fans at the Wesbild Centre.

One big winner during the event was the Kings' Vos, whose name was selected in a draw at the All-Star Banquet to win a Vancouver Canucks jersey signed by Mats Sundin that West Coast Authentic provided.. The jersey had been the focus of an auction battle won by Victoria Grizzlies coach Geoff Courtnall, who then raffled it off amongst the players. The bitter irony: Vos, a native of Hamilton, Ont., is a lifelong Maple Leafs fan.

BCHL ALL STAR BANQUET:

January 13th, 2009

Lots of laughs, drinks, jokes and great speeches. Vancouver alumni players Darcy Rota, Orland Kurtanbach, Geoff Courtnall were in attendance as well. Geoff Courtnall won a Mats Sundin autographed jersey and donated back to the players. Some great young hockey players took in all the activities.

SWEDEN VS VERNON:

Team Sweden's Under-17 national team came to B.C to learn about Canadian hockey and three teams from the B.C. Hockey League's Interior Conference showed them how tough wins are to come by in the Interior this season.

Team Sweden lost all three of its contests in a three-game tour through Vernon, Westside and Salmon Arm earlier this month.

Vernon opened the tour with a 2-1 shootout win while Westside and Salmon Arm handed the best 16-year-old Swedish players 5-3 losses on back-to-back nights.
